Review translations in real time and in the finished layout
With (p)review4client™, you get a powerful online editor that can be integrated into the review process for translation projects. The three-column review editor provides a clear overview and allows you to view translations in the finished layout in real time.
The sentence-segmented XML translation is displayed in the finished layout in both the source and target languages.
An additional reference language can be displayed alongside the German source language. This allows reviewers without knowledge of the source language to participate in the review process.
Changes made to repeated segments within a document are applied automatically. This eliminates the need to manually update each repetition.
Translation review with (p)review4client™
(p)review4client™ offers a simple and intuitive workflow. The translated content to be reviewed is imported into the review editor from the web-based customer portal portal4client™, including translation memory data and, where applicable, industry-specific terminology. In (p)review4client™, a preview of both the source-language and translated content is generated, allowing the text to be viewed in its final layout.
Two options are available: assigning the content to an existing layout source, such as a PDF view or website (URL), or dynamically generating a layout using style sheets. This function allows you to directly visualize the translation in the finished layout.
Another feature is the display of a reference language, such as the English version of the project from portal4client™ or a machine translation. This allows review tasks to be carried out by users who do not have knowledge of the original source language (e.g. German). Once the review is complete, the file is reimported into portal4client™ to update the translation, and the target file is made available in the portal. This enables even faster processing of your translation projects.

Thanks to the in-context preview and the option to dynamically generate the layout or assign it to a layout source, it is easier to see changes in the target language directly in the finished layout. This enables faster processing of changes and efficient text review.
In addition, the option to display reference languages and automatically apply changes to repeating segments makes access easier for reviewers and reduces the time required in the translation process. As a result, translators and reviewers do not have to manually edit each segment, but can apply changes globally to a document with a single click.
