Since the founding of the company in 1969, responsibility, security and sustainability have been the central pillars of the KERN Group philosophy. In order to fulfill our social responsibility requirements, we have committed ourselves to participating in independent initiatives and certifications, which regularly evaluate us according to international standards.
Clementine children's hospital (Dr. Christ Foundation)
For more than half a decade, the KERN Global Language Services has been making a Christmas donation to the Clementine children’s hospital (Dr. Christ Foundation). This donation helps to directly support the activity of the hospital, which puts families and their youngest members first. As a family company, financially supporting this institution is a particularly important topic for the KERN Global Language Services.
EcoVadis
KERN has been awarded a prize by the EcoVadis Rating Platform for its exemplary economic activities. The certification is based on compliance to international standards of corporate social responsibility. Four areas are considered in the framework of the evaluation: environment, society, ethics and resource acquisition.

Translators without Borders
As a partner, KERN Global Language Services is committed to the work and goals of Translators without Borders. Translators without Borders is a non-profit organization that aims to overcome language barriers and make information and knowledge accessible to people worldwide in their own language. They focus on providing translations for non-profit organizations in the areas of crisis relief, health, education, and law. This also includes training new translators in underserved languages and raising awareness of the importance of language in humanitarian work.
MT Melsungen
The KERN Global Language Services has been the official sponsor and education partner of the top flight German handball team MT Melsungen since 2016. On the one hand, the full-service language service provider ensures positive emphasis and sustainable growth in the region with its funding. At the same time, the KERN Global Language Services accompanies new foreign players with intensive language training, and as such, it is promoting their fast and comprehensive integration.
